We put the safety of our team, clients and their constituents above all else with our ongoing training processes and certifications.
We do a tough job. Our line of work can get difficult, and, without the proper training, dangerous. That’s why we nurture and improve our team by continuously expanding our Training Department. This encompasses our mobile training centers, equipped to simulate real onsite scenarios and activities, and what we believe to be the best preparation: On-The-Job, or OTJ supervised training.
Then, at the end of each quarter, our field managers take a look at our performance over time to find and discuss key past results, problem areas, industry developments and new training techniques to utilize moving forward.
Townsend Tree Service is the first company in the country to be accredited under a new Utility Contractor—Tree Service Company Accreditation program administered by the Tree Care Industry Association. In addition, our entire team of Forestry Safety Managers consists of Certified Treecare Safety Professionals accredited by the Tree Care Industry Association.
This program is designed to ensure our environments are being maintained by professionals who know and value the importance of proper safety procedures in tree service. As CTSPs and members of the TCIA, the Townsend Tree Service team is always up to date on the latest technological advancements and regulations in the industry. We also have several individuals on staff who are certified arborists by the International Society of Arboriculture.
