Women’s Business Enterprise Certification from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council
This official certification as a women-owned business is significant. We have achieved Women’s Business Enterprise Certification through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, which is not an accolade handed out frivolously.
The WBENC is the largest third-party certifier of women-owned-and-operated businesses in the United States. As a respected and credible designation, WBE Certification is nationally recognized by government agencies at all levels: local, state and federal.
The formal process to obtain a WBE Certification is a rigorous process designed to reward successful businesses that are committed to quality, leadership and innovation. The WBENC has numerous requirements to become officially recognized as a Women’s Business Enterprise.
In addition to detailed documentation and financials, prospective businesses must complete and pass a site visit performed by one of the regional partner organizations of the WBENC. Only when the WBENC is satisfied that all requirements are fully met will the WBE Certification be awarded.
